From the West (M8/Glasgow)
Follow M8 heading east out of/passing Glasgow. Leave M8 at junction 8 and
follow the signs for M74 Carlisle and the South.
Follow M74 to junction 7 and then follow A72 Clyde Valley route to Lanark
turning right at the junction with A73. Approaching Lanark High Street, take
a left turn into A706 Hope Street. After The Crown public house, turn left
into Waterloo Road and continue for about 150m.
This will take you through a minor crossroads with Jerviswood Road and past
Wheatpark Road on the left. Bettersmile (28 Waterloo Road) is on the right
hand side.
From the East (M8/Edinburgh)
Leaving Edinburgh, head for the M8 (West). Follow M8 in a westerly direction
until Junction 4, Whitburn. From here follow A706 to Lanark via Forth Village.
On approaching Lanark on A706 (Hope Street/Oakbank Drive) turn right into
Waterloo Road at the turning before The Crown public house and continue for
about 150m.
This will take you through a minor crossroads with Jerviswood Road and past Wheatpark Road on the left. Bettersmile (28 Waterloo Road) is on the right hand side.
From the North (M73/Stirling/Perth)
Follow M9/M80/A80/M73 to M74 heading south. Follow M74 to junction 7 and then
follow A72 Clyde Valley route to Lanark turning right at the ultimate junction
with A73.
Approaching Lanark High Street, take a left turn into A706 Hope Street. After
The Crown public house, turn left into Waterloo Road and continue for about
150m.
This will take you through a minor crossroads with Jerviswood Road and past Wheatpark Road on the left. Bettersmile (28 Waterloo Road) is on the right hand side.
From the South West
(M6/M74)
Follow M6 north to M74 heading for Glasgow. Leave M74 at Junction 12 and follow
the A70 to Hyndford Bridge.
Turn left at Hyndford Bridge and continue towards Lanark via A72/Hyndford
Road passing Lanark Loch on the right. At the roundabout at the end of Hyndford
Road continue straight on to Wellgate until you come to its junction with
Lanark High Street.
Turn left at this junction and take the first right turn into Hope Street
(A706). After The Crown public house, turn left into Waterloo Road and continue
for about 150m.
This will take you through a minor crossroads with Jerviswood Road and past
Wheatpark Road on the left. Bettersmile (28 Waterloo Road) is on the right
hand side.
From the South East
(A1/A68)
On the approach to Edinburgh from either road, join City Bypass (A720) and
continue to M8 Junction 1. Follow M8 in a westerly direction until Junction
4, Whitburn.
From here follow A706 to Lanark via Forth Village. On approaching Lanark on
A706 (Hope Street turn right into Waterloo Road at the turning before The
Crown public house and continue for about 150m.
